About the Role

Antcliffe Scott is seeking an experienced Commercial and Property Lawyer (4+ years PAE) to join our growing team. This full-time role is ideal for a practitioner who is looking for a practice that values sophisticated legal work, genuine client relationships and a balanced approach to professional life.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of matters, providing high-quality advice to a loyal client base focussed particularly in the private and family company sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Transactions: Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and business sale/purchase agreements.
• Property Law: Handling substantial residential and commercial conveyancing, put and call options, and complex property developments.
• Leasing: Acting for both lessors and lessees in retail, commercial and industrial leasing matters.
• Strategic Advice: Providing clear, actionable legal strategy that considers the commercial realities of our clients’ businesses.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer who is as much a “people person” as they are a technical expert. To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience: At least 4 years of post-admission experience specifically within commercial and property law. You may be at a large or mid-tier firm and find the hierarchy stifling.
• Autonomy: The ability to run files from inception to completion with minimal supervision, while knowing when to collaborate.

Salary

• Approximately AU$130,000.00 – AU$150,000.00 per year.
